Jerry Sears, Senior Editor

Prior to launching Boulder Publishers, Jerry spent twenty-five years
recruiting partners, department chairmen and group practices for
some of the largest law firms in America. During these years, he
counseled with and/or merged more than twenty group practices,
affected five major firm M&A transactions, interviewed more than
100,000 lawyers and placed more than one thousand.  He has
assisted many clients with rainmaking counseling, firm-wide
compensation programs and resolving internal partner disputes. He
has also worked with Managing Partners and Executive Committees
to develop long-term strategic plans.

His articles have been published in
The Practical Lawyer and The
Harvard Business Review.
Sears is also an award-winning author.

Sears graduated from Queens College and became an officer in the
U.S. Coast Guard. Later while working at Chemical Bank, he
received his MBA in Finance from New York University. Twenty-five
years ago he became an Executive Recruiter after a first career in
banking.
Ellen Sears, Publisher and Chief Strategy Officer

Prior to launching Boulder Publishers, Ellen spent forty years as a
private investor, venture capitalist, investment banker and Internet
entrepreneur. During these years she built and profitably sold three
of her own businesses, funded more than fifty start-up companies
and used her marketing expertise to help clients develop and
implement growth strategies.

In 1994 Ellen launched one of the earliest online buying guide web
sites,
The Broadband Telephony Buyers Guide. In 1997,  the web
site was purchased by PennWell Publishing, a major publisher of
over forty trade publications and promoter of five international trade
shows.  Ellen joined PennWell becoming the CEO of their Internet
division, Pennwell Media Online. At PennWell Ellen was responsible
for launching web strategies for their trade publications.

As an investor in technology companies, Ellen was an active
member of the AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association)
and while serving as the Chairman of the Florida Counsel (three
years) was a Member of the Board of Directors (two years)  The AeA
is the world's largest technology lobbying organization.
Wayne Caravello, Director of Marketing Research

Prior to joining Boulder Publishers, Wayne spent his career
launching and operating three successful businesses. In 1994 he
became an Internet “techie” while working with Ellen as she started
The Broadband Telephony Buyers Guide.  Wayne was responsible
for creating early linking strategies, optimizing the site for the
evolving search engine technologies and creating successful email
marketing campaigns.

Wayne joined Boulder Publishers in 2006 to coordinate market
research and marketing strategy.
